Resistance Belt Training:
A: Figure 8's with belt rotate ea 1 minute
B: Toe taps/bells forward & reverse w/resistance belt (switch ea 2 min)
C: Speed ladder w/resistance belt (High knees, quick feet, forward shuffles, reverse shuffles) switch ea 2 min
D: Foward & Reverse Lunges (Keep good running shape, pump arms, lean forward) switch ea 2 min
E: Sprint w/resistance, release belt at second cone & runner sprints past third cone 4 x's each
1 v 1 (15 min)
D plays ball to A and closes down. A creates space to finish. Goal or 30 seconds. 1 point per goal. swith sided ea 3 minutes.
Coaching Points: Positive touch onto shooting foot. Planter foot next to ball w/head down. Foot extended & locked. Extend leg back & land on shooting foot.
Stage 3: Finishing in the final 1/3
Repitions: 5, Intensity: High, Duration: 20 min, Area: 60 x 35
3 v 3 Finishing. Rotate teams ea 3 min. Winner stays on. Wide players are neutrals.
CP: Quick shots in front of goal, chest over ball, strike center of ball, planted foot, hips & sholders to target, finishing vs shooting
Penetrating Activity (15 min)
4v4 + GK's, 2 goals, 2 min. 4v4 in center grid, connect 4 balls @ ea possession before playing penetrating balls.
Restrictions: Neither team can move into offensive/defensive 1/3's (Shadded) until 4 passes are connected and a penetrating ball is played into an attacking player.
Variation: Decrease connected balls to increase balls played in & 1-2 touch restrictions to move balls faster
9 v 9 SSF (20 min)
Green 1-4-3-2-2 v 1-3-3-2. Create an environment where Green may quickly play out of the back. Ball starts with Green GK each time
