Organization
Playes ae broken up into groups of 5 or 6 (depending on numbers)
Playing area of: 20 x 20m
Each playeris given cones, and asked to place them randomly around the area
1 ball per group
Activity
Players possess the ball in the area without the ball touching the cones
Players are encouraged to open up on their 1st touch and dribble into another triangle. When in new triangle release pass to team mate
Progression
1 touch passing only
Alternate touches allowed - 1st player 1 touch, 2nd player 2 touch, 3rd player 1 touch...
Challenge
players must link as many passes as possible in 90 seconds
each pass played is worth 1 point
pass count returns to zero anytime the ball touches a cone, a player takes more than the designated touches, or the ball goes out of play

Organization
- 35 x 35 area marked as shown
- 20 x 20 smaller area marked as shown (circle)
- 10/12 Players (3 attackers, 3 defenders & 4 Target Players)
- 4 Mini Goals set up as shown
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity
- Team play 3v3/4v4 possession game inside smaller area (circle)
- If odd numbers a Neutral player can supports the team in possession
- Team in possession looks to make 6 consecutive passes before they can then break out to score
- Attacking team can use team mates on outside of circle, who are restricted to 1 touch maximum
- Neutral players supports the team in possession of the ball
- After 6 consecutive passes attacking team break out of circle & look to score in designated goals
- Team can use the whole area to score & team mates on outside now join in the play to create (5v5+1)
- If Defending team wins the ball they must make 6 passes before scoring
- When a goal is scored or ball goes out of play the activity restarts in smaller area & players reset
Coaching Points
- Possession: Quality of pass, possession with a purpose & circulation of the ball
- Support: Aware of space & surroundings. Can you be an option between/behind opposition?
- Transition: Reaction as an individual & team. Break out, make the pitch big & seperate the opposition
- Awareness: Which is the best goal to score in? Look for the cues: out numbered? overloads?
- Finishing: Be positive in front of goal!!
Progression
P - After 6 consecutive passes the "break out" pass must be played outside the circle to run on to (see diagram)
P - Adjust the consecutive pass count
P - Must be a one touch finish into mini goals
Organization
- 30 x 50 area set up as shown
- 10 Players (4 Attackers, 4 Defenders & 2 Target Players)
- 4 Mini Goals set up as shown
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity
- Two teams play directional possession game
- Attacking team must play ball into both target players before scoring in mini goals
- Attackers must score in mini goals at opposite end of 2nd target player used
- Target players play 1 touch maximum
Coaching Points
- Awareness: Always check yor surrondings with & without the ball. Whats the picture?
- Connection: Coach your team mates. Help them in painting pictures!
- Possession: Quality of pass, possession with a purpose & circulation of the ball
- Support: Aware of space & surroundings. Can you be an option between/behind opposition?
Progression
- In Possession: First touch must be forward or pass backwards first time
- One touch finishing into mini goals
