Organization:
1.30 x 30 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players set up as shown
3.1 ball per player
Instructions:
1.Players dribble around the area until coach calls out a number. When that number is called, players must dribble to that side of the area which has the cones that correspond with the number that has been called
2.Each player has three lives
3.The last player to stop the ball on the appropriate side of the area loses a life. When one player loses all their lives, all players go back to three
4.When all players reach the side that has been designated, players start dribbling in area again
Coaching Points:
1.Positive first touch out of the feet
2.Head up and observe situation
3.Head down when playing the ball to ensure good contact
4.Play with the laces of the foot closet to the ball
Progressions:
P – Coach can move markers around, changing the targets, and thus preventing the players from attacking certain areas from memory
P – Any players who collide with another player or ball automatically lose a life
R – Players start from one target line, and coach calls new target from there, thus meaning players always attack a space that is always in front of them, from a standing start

Instructions:
1.Player A accelerates towards opposite end of area
2.When adjacent with the opposite gate, player A passes through the gate to player B
3.Player A continues run to join the back of the opposite line
4.Player B repeats in opposite direction

3.Play with the laces of the foot closet to the ball
4.Fewest number of touches to cover the distance quickly
5.Run in a straight line

Progressions:
P Both lines start with a ball at the same time. If a player overtakes or tags the player in front of them they score a point. First individual to 3 points wins.
R Width of area is narrowed to 5 yards, and gates are increased to 4 yards each, thus enabling an easier final pass.
Organization:
1.40 x 40 yard area, 10 yard channels marked off on wings set up as shown
2.12 players, (2 teams of 5, 2 Goalkeepers) set up as shown

Instructions:
1.Divide the players into 2 teams. One player from red team in one channel, one player from yellow team in the other. 4 v 4 in central area with GK’s
2.Players combine to score in opposition’s goal. Players in channels cannot be challenged, nor can anyone else enter channel
3.Players should look to play to their wide player to advance attack, by running with the ball

1.Look to play wide early
