1) the ball is played from the defending teams CB to the GK as this happens the back 4 and middfielders drop off ( back 4 just outside box )

1a) the CM for the defending team moves out towards the half way line before the pass is played to become an option for the pass

2) with the GK now on the ball the team moves high and wide up the park

2a) the 2 CF now cover the LB/RB leaving the 2 CB free

2b) the ball is played to the RCB who now has space

3) the RCB now incontrol of the ball plays an across field pass to the LCM who controls with an open body taking the ball towards the half way line

3a) as this happens the RCF, RM and CM of the defending team close the LCM down

3b) the LCM then plays the right pass back across field to the RCM who has now created space to recieve the ball and drive towards goal
