Speed & Agility Resistance Band Training Circuit (15 min)

Area A: Bands on Ankles - Star Jumps, Lateral Shuffles, Lunges

Area B: Bands on knees - Out in Out dots, Lateral Shuffles ea way, Toe Taps (Two feet forward & back over the line), Shuffles (Forward & back foot switch)

Area C: Bands on knees

- High knees to foward sprint to jumps to finishing

- Lateral Shuffles ea way to reverse/foward sprints to jumps to finishing

- Remove bands & perform 3 sets of each again

Coaching Points: Keep feet shoulder with, Stayed balance, Pump arms

Juggling and Fast footwork, stretch

Passing in 2's

Cp's-Emphasis on technique, get as many touches as possible, be aware of spaces.

Stage 2

Technical Drill (15min)

Diamond drills

Players pass and rotate counter clockwise, reverse it

Cp's-proper weight on the pass, communicate, pass and move at game speeds, keep head up.

Stage 3

Small sided Activity (15min)

1v1 into 2v1

A plays to C to make 1v1, progression B plays to A, A plays to C, A and B press C

Cp's-quality of the pass, attack the ball, attack empty space as soon as possible

Stage 4

Expanded Small sided Activity(20min)

Orange player starts with a shot on frame. Gk restarts with the ball. Yellow must score on the small goals asap

Cp's-Communicate, expand the field in width and length, recognize when to play short and when to go long, anticipation vs reaction
