Here is a fun heading game for players any age just modify accordingly from young players to adults.
Red team have to place the hands on each others shoulders and stay as one GK only keeping the ball out with head or any part of their body not hands. the only players allowed to use hands are each end person right hand and left from each side.
Blue team have 3 minutes to score as many headers as they can, balls are served from behind a cone into an area for team mate to attack, always play space for attacker to attack the header. After the server has served the ball he becomes the next person to head the ball.
When the 3 minutes are up they switch with the Reds
Organization: one cone marking shooting line, coach has all balls, one player within a small goal (about 8' wide)
Activity: Coach plays ball in front of shooting zone, player must one touch shot it at small goal. (no settling touches allowed). If the goal is made than the goalie is out and has to wait to the next round. If the goal is scored the shooter goes to the end of the line and the next player becomes the shooter. If the goal is not made than the shooter becomes the goalie and the next player shoots. If the ball is shot to high it doesn't count.
Players who are out recover balls and gives them to the coach. The coach continues to play balls quickly to encourage speed and increase drama.
