10 minute - Dynamic warm up and strtches
Set Up:
Area 30x30m 10-12 players per grid
Players in pairs with 1 ball.
Cones in triangles in various areas.
Players work in pairs P1 runs around the first cone to receive a pass from P2 on the exit. P2 then sets off to spare triangle to recieve a pass from P1, P1 then finds another triangle and rounds the cone recieving a pass on the exit. This continues for 2 minutes.
Repeat 3 times.
Set Up
1/2 Pitch. Players work in 3's with 1 ball.
P1 play into P2 and moves off to next free cone in a diagional movement. P2 passes to P3 and moves diagionally to next free cone. this continues until the ball reaches the last cone in the wide area. P1 would produce a cross into the second 6 yard box for P3 to attack and score.
Alternate from each side. After completing the left had side move to the right.
Coaching Points.
Weight and direction of pass.
Recieving the ball open body on the back foot.
Speed of run between cones
Quality of cross
Angle and direction of attacking run into the box.
Progression: First time passing.

Coach Blues in a 1-2-3-3
Red - 1-4-3-1 - if reds win the ball they have 10 seconds to score.
Play starts from the keeper each time. Free play.
Option 1. Play into the fullback who can play forward to wide midfield then set it back for centre mid who then plays a ball down the line to the fullback who has continued his overlapping run.
Option 2. Play direct into centre mid, who switches play to opposite fullback then plays in the a striker then continue his run into the wide area.
Option 3 Play direct into No:9 and allow free play.
Coaching points:
Accurate passes, recieving the ball safe side, movement to create space, angles of runs, quality of the cross, accurate shooting.
Strikers to go long then come short to recieve the ball on the second movement.
Progression: Limit touches
