Technique practice:
Organisation:
Split the pitch in 2 halves. 1 goal at each end of the pitch complete with a GK. 2 teams on the inside 2 Reds and 2 Blues on each half with 4 support players 2 on each side of the pitch.
Practice:
Start with the support player from outside of the pitch to serve the attackers inside the pitch. Movement number 1
The attacking team will communicate, create combination play, pass the ball to each other and target to pass the ball to the GK in the goal on the same side of the pitch they are playing movement 2/3/4
Key Points:
•Communication; cover and balance, angles of approach to manipulate attacking play; ball played behind, back turned to the game.
•Keep moving, read the game
•Shooting weight of pass
•Finishing quick shoot at goal
•Control- bounce it around and create another opportunity to shoot
•Explore space
•Decision Making – when to pass or shoot
•Space awareness
•Think about to implement a combination play
Progression:
•Start by only allow the attackers to play the ball to the hands of the opposite GK(not scoring goal but 1 point by passing the ball to the GK hands)
•Start by placing the Support player on each side of the pitch
•Diverse serves to create more ball control and angles of shooting(hand serves, Long Serves, Short serves)and different techniques can be implemented by the players, different receptions and different types of shoot on goal
•Move the servers from the side of the pitch to near the goal posts
•Reduce touches for the attackers
•End with allowing the Attackers to score a goal.

Skill Practice:

In 1 half set up 1 team with 2 players inside the pitch v 1 Defender in the Middle of the pitch mark a Support player Distribution Zone with 2 support players 1 for each side of the pitch
Practice:
Start with the support player on the distribution zone to serve the ball to the attacking team movement number 1
The attacking team will communicate, create combination play, dribble and shoot to the goal on the same side of the pitch.Movement number 2/3/4
Key Points:
•Communication; cover and balance, angles of approach to manipulate attacking play; ball played behind, back turned to the game.

•Finishing – when defender not pressing shoot
•Control- bounce it around and create another opportunity to shoot
•Explore space
•Decision Making – when to pass, dribble or shoot
•Generate power body weight attack the ball at optimum point
•Think about combination play
•Try to win on 1v1 or anticipate defender with a quick shoot at goal from distance
Progression:
•Start by only allowing the attackers to play the ball to the hands of the GK(not scoring goal but 1 point by passing the ball to the GK hands)
•Start by placing the defender player on each side of the support zone/Distribution zone and only defend when the attackers take a touch
•Allow the Attackers to play with the support player to create space and shooting opportunities
•Diverse serves to create more ball control and angles of shooting(hand serves, Long Serves, Short serves)and different techniques can be implemented by the players, different receptions and different types of shoot on goal
•Reduce touches for the attackers
•Allow Defenders inside the pitch to create attackers movement and create space
•End with allowing the Attackers to score a goal, aim for most vulnerable area of the goal
