Organization:
1. 3 player in a group
2. 2 players outside the square with ball
3. one player inside the square without ball
Instructions:
- Player inside the square receives and returns pass to player outside the square
- then shuffles to the other side ti receive another pass.
- After passing left & right with one ball feeder player inside square makes a diagonal run and repeats the activity on opposite side of square with the other feeder.
- Player inside the square works for one minute then roatates with a feeder
Coaching Points:
- ankle locked, toes pointing up upon contact with the ball
- head up to observe target
- shuffle side-on to have vision of playing area
Progressions:
- decrease the number of touches
- decrease time and increase the expectation
Organization:
4-5 Players set up as shown
area is 10X10 yard square
One ball
Instructions:
- Players in red (attackers) try to keep ball away from defender in the middle
- If defender wins/intercepts the ball then he/she takes place of the attacker that lost the ball
- 6-8 Passes or a nutmeg (ball through the legs of defender) means the defender stays an extra round
Coaching Points:
-passes should be sharp out of the feet
- pass the ball to teammates/attackers leading foot
- communication about where to pass or what foot to pass to
- open body motion/angle of approach before receiving pass
- defender should hustle to win the ball as fast as possible
Progressions:
P1 - defender can only get out be winning ball possession
P2 - attackers are only allowed to use one/two touches to pass
Organization:
- 3 zones set up as shown
- players in zone 1 and 3 are attackers
- players in zone 2 are defenders
Instructions:
- Players in zone 1 and 3 attempt to make passes (through balls) across zones
- if pass is successful across zones then passing team scores a point
- If ball is intercepted players rotate zones
Coaching Points:
- Pass between players in your zone to keep ball moving
- whenever their is an opening in zone 2 quickly play a pass through
- players need to be patient not to force pass.
Progressions:
- introduce time to each zone (ball cannot spend more than 30 seconds in each zone)
- players have to make limited no. of passes before playing through zone
Organization:
- 8-16 players playing 8V8 set up as shown
- Half of a playing area/full field if available
Coach becomes referee/ball server
Instructions:
Players score 1pt if they score in small goal & 3pts if they hit opposition's cone
Players are encourage to pass when the see an open player
And shoot when they dont
Coaching Points:
- Use laces to shoot at all times
- Players should communicate I'm open to teammates when they are in good positions
- Players should SHOOT/play ball into open space when they see no option to pass

2. Players must make 5 passes before scoring
